Care, Cleaning and Re-Scenting

Argent Roses are unique metal sculptures designed to be enjoyed as decorative art. They are made from steel and stainless steel parts, and are assembled and painted by hand. With that in mind, there are a few things to keep in mind in order to get the most enjoyment out of your Argent Rose.

Care

  • Use caution when handling your Argent Rose as it does have “sharp” edges. As such, Argent Roses are NOT suitable for children.

  • Keep your Argent Rose in a dry place. Since Argent Roses are made from steel, they can be susceptible to rust if exposed to water or extreme humidity.

  • Since the finish of your Argent Rose is hand painted it can be chipped and/or scratched if dropped or mishandled.

Cleaning

  • It is recommended that you clean your Argent Rose with:

    • Compressed air (canned air).

    • A soft, dry, lint free cloth (like a cloth for cleaning eyeglasses).

    • A very soft bristle brush (such as a small paint brush).

      • Note: make sure to thoroughly rinse/wipe off any rose oil from the brush that may have been picked up from the rose before using it again.

    • Cotton swabs (Q-Tips).

  • Avoid using chemicals to clean your Argent Rose as they may damage the finish.

Re-Scenting

  • To re-scent your Argent Rose place two drops of rose oil onto the tablet in the center of the rose.

  • DO NOT put oil directly onto your Argent Rose as it may damage the finish.
