Scenting Oil

You may be surprised to find out that even though our roses are handcrafted from steel, they do smell sweet! All Argent Roses come complete with rose scenting oil to make them smell like real roses.  A floral bouquet reminiscent of fresh picked red rose petals, our scenting oil will keep your roses smelling in full bloom for up to a year (or more). Each rose includes a sample of scenting oil, a dropper, scenting tab, and instructions on adding the scent to your rose. Simply add a drop (or two) of our fragrance oil to the tablet included with your rose, place the tab in the center of the rose, and enjoy!

Once the scent is applied it can smell lovely for up to a year.  Displaying your rose in a cool, dry location will keep the scent longer.  In a sunny and warm location, or in front of a fan for example, your rose will smell more strongly, but the smell will dissipate more quickly.  The good news is, they can be re-scented!  

For those customers building up their collection of roses, or those who just love the scent, ½ dram (2ml) refills are available for purchase. Each bottle will yield approximately 40 “drops” depending on how much oil is used per “drop.” 

Naturally, we understand that not everyone cares for the rose scent, or may be allergic.  If you prefer that your rose not come with the rose scent, you can also choose that option. As you add your rose to your shopping cart just select whether you would like it to come with or without the scenting oil when the prompt pops up.

Occasionally, our Seasonal Argent Roses feature a special scent to go along with the theme of the rose. These scenting oils are only available with the purchase of those special Seasonal Roses.  When available, refills for those special scents may be offered for purchase as well.  Some of the special scents we have offered are Sugar Plum, Wintergreen, Peppermint and even Chocolate Cherries!
